The Rosa String Works Band is a traditional Bluegrass band.  However, we also perform a variety of original, traditional Country, and Gospel Bluegrass Music.

The Rosa String Works Band has compiled quite a resume since it’s formation in 1991.  We have played events ranging from backyard barbecues to the world famous Fox Theater as well as the RAMS Football Stadium. 

In addition, we have opened for a list of Country Music Stars including Diamond Rio, Merle Haggard, Patty Loveless, The Charlie Daniel’s Band, Jo Dee Messina, Louise Mandrel, and several more.

We have released four albums since 1991.  The first on cassette tape, is currently out of print, the second album IT’S IN THE WIND, contains all original material which is available on tape or CD.  The third album HEAVENLY MUSIC, is an all Gospel project.  Our fourth recording project I JUST RENT IT FROM GOD is a combination of original material, acoustic Country, Bluegrass and Gospel Bluegrass.

The Rosa String Works Band has done well at the annual Illinois Traditional Country Music Association State Competition.  The following is a partial list of the more than 40 awards we have won:

Other:  We can provide an 8 channel sound reinforcement system, with four 15”monitors and four 15” mains which is suitable for audiences up to 600.
